Course History

Originally the course was a 3 to 3.5 mile race starting and ending near the Salem Congregational

Church. Then, the course was officially measure and became a USATF certified 5 km course when

it started at Salem School, went down Music Vale, and returned to the school by way of the

Salem Four Corners until 2012. For the 2013 running, the course has been changed and re-

measured. The re-certified course eliminates the need to run through the Salem Four Corners

intersection, which has been converted to a roundabout.
